$10,000 Paramedic sign-on/retention bonus. Paid out over 2 years. Based on 40-hour work week. Full-time Paramedics working four 12-hour shifts per week earn between $70k+ - $86k+ per year, plus bonuses, PTO & benefits, with voluntary OT available.

$2.00 per hour weekend differential available when weekend warrior program active.

Mohawk Ambulance is hiring EMTs, Paramedics, Dispatchers and Emergency Vehicle Operators (EVOs). Management & non-management, full-time, part-time, seasonal (summer) & per diem positions available.  We offer a 2 to 4 day work week for full-time employees!

Mohawk provides free in-house training for candidates interested in becoming emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and offers full-cost tuition assistance for our EMTs interested in becoming Paramedics.

Interested in becoming an EMT? We are currently offering year-round EMT academy courses, which meet 5-days per week, and offer an EMT Education Assistant Program that allows participants to earn money as they learn in a free EMT course.

Current new-hire full-time bargaining unit pay rates: SCT Paramedic $28.16 – $31.92, Paramedic $26.16 – $29.92, driver-qualified EMT $18.76 – $21.25, and Dispatcher $19.29 – $22.69. Starting pay rates are commensurate with EMS & job specific experience. Supervisor and Chief supervisor outside applicants are welcome and earn higher starting pay rates.
