Mohawk Ambulance Service partnered with the City School District of Albany to host the Summer Celebration and Safety Day on July 15 in Albany’s Krank Park. The day will featured a free picnic-style cookout and activities, face-painting, games and giveaways, and safety information and demonstrations from participating organizations giving tips on staying safe this summer season. Thank you to all the participating organizations and agencies who helped make this a successful event.

Statement Regarding Acquisitions of Capital District and Doctors Ambulance Services.
Mohawk Ambulance Service finalized and entered into an agreement this week to acquire the operations of Capital District Ambulance Service and Doctors Ambulance Service. We believe that it was in the best interest of the families of the former founders of Capital District Ambulance Service and Doctors Ambulance Service to sell their assets to preserve the reputation and good will of both companies. While the necessary regulatory approvals for this sale are being obtained, Mohawk Ambulance Service’s staff will assist Capital District Ambulance Service and Doctors Ambulance Service to continue their provision of services. All former staff of Capital District and Doctors Ambulance are encouraged to apply at Mohawk Ambulance Service.
